Collection Notification Statement
Please read this carefully as it will have important consequences for you in relation to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information you provide to Tanda HR Services Pty Ltd (ACN 680 252 751) (Tanda Workplace Protect, we, our) via Tanda’s HR Advisory service (the Service).
You understand that:
Tanda Workplace Protect will collect your personal information:
from the Tanda Workplace Protect customer who is employing or contracting you (Tanda Workplace Protect Employer) and nominates you to use the Service, namely your name, email, phone number, and position with the Tanda Workplace Protect Employer; and
directly from you via your use of the Service.
We will use your personal information for the following purposes:
- the provision of our services to you via the Service, including creating an account for you and providing support to you and the Tanda Workplace Protect Employer in relation to your use of the Service;
- to manage, maintain, develop, improve and enhance the Service and for other development, research, data analytics, diagnostic and corrective purposes in connection with the Service and other Tanda Workplace Protect offerings;
- for general administrative and security purposes such as ensuring our website and applications remain secure; maintaining and developing our products and for quality assurance purposes;
- to monitor your use of the Service to ensure you are using the Service in the manner in which it is intended to be used, and in accordance with the applicable Terms of Use;
- to aggregate with other information and then to use it for marketing and consumer analytics;
- to offer you or the Tanda Workplace Protect Employer updates on products, events or information that may be of interest;
- for marketing and promotional activities by us (including by direct mail, telemarketing and email) such as our email alerts, product awareness information and newsletters.
If we do not collect your personal information for the above purposes, Tanda Workplace Protect will be unable to provide you with our services via the Service.
We may disclose your personal information to:
- the Tanda Workplace Protect Employer for the purpose of managing their account with us, or otherwise accordance with the Tanda Employment Advisory Employer’s privacy policy;
- our third-party providers or contractors for them to who assist Tanda Workplace Protect in providing our products and services;
- related bodies corporate of Tanda Workplace Protect (including related entities);
- third parties in connection with any business sale; and
- as required or authorised by any law.
You will not be notified of the disclosure of your Personal information to the parties identified above.
It is possible that some of your personal information may be disclosed to parties outside of Australia. You consent to your information being disclosed to a destination outside Australia and you understand and acknowledge that Australian Privacy Principle 8.1 will not apply to such disclosures of your personal information.
The Tanda HR Advisory Privacy Policy sets out the process as to how you can access and correct any of your personal information collected under this form as well as to how you can make a complaint if Tanda Workplace Protect has breached the Privacy Act in the handling of your personal information. By continuing to access or use the Service you indicate that you have read this collection notification and acknowledge that your personal information will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with this collection notice and as otherwise detailed in the Tanda Workplace Protect Privacy Policy and, to the extent it is necessary, that you give your voluntary express consent to Tanda Workplace Protect collecting, using, storing, disclosing and disposing of your personal information in this manner.
