Franchise Supplier of the Year 2026

Top Australian franchise supplier
Tanda has been awarded Franchise Supplier of the Year at the 2026 Franchise Industry Awards, an initiative of the Franchise Council of Australia. It's an accolade that recognises Tanda's service, value and compliance support to franchise networks. We're sharing the win with every franchise that's put its trust in us over the past eleven years.
That trust is the whole story. Franchise groups hand us something that matters more than most software decisions: the pay and compliance of every person on their roster, across every store they own. Forty-two franchise groups currently run on Tanda, including Domino's, Pizza Hut, Craveable Brands (Red Rooster, Oporto, Chargrill Charlie's), The Cheesecake Shop, Baskin-Robbins, Total Tools, Bakers Delight, Guzman y Gomez, Studio Pilates, Mad Mex, San Churro, and dozens more. This represents more than 100,000 employees across Australia.
David Fleming, Head of Sales & Marketing at Tanda, says the award belongs to those networks as much as it does to the Tanda team.
“A franchisor carries exposure for stores they don't run. You can't contract that away. The only real decision is how defensible your systems are across the network when someone asks. When a board signs off on mandating Tanda in every location, that's the decision they're actually making. This award reflects forty-two networks who made that call,” Fleming said.
What that trust has built
Eleven years ago, Tanda signed its first franchise network. Since then, the relationship has run both ways: franchise groups told us what they needed, and we built it.
"We didn't have payroll or HR when we started working with franchise networks. We built both because operators kept telling us they didn't want three vendors, they wanted one that actually understood how a network runs," Fleming said.
"The parent-child award structure is the same story. A franchisor asked us how they could stop a single store quietly paying under rate without having to check every location by hand. That's what we're about, growing alongside our customers."
The results speak for both sides of that relationship. An independent Forrester study found a 456% ROI across Tanda customers, most of them franchise operators. Craveable Brands' 550-restaurant rollout produced a quantified $4.4 million financial impact, largely down to real-time wage visibility. Red Rooster franchisees within the network used that visibility to make mid-week roster adjustments, cutting variance in their wage percentage and protecting margin instead of finding out too late.
None of that holds up without the people behind it. Over the past six months, Tanda's support team has held a 9-hour median ticket resolution time, 88% customer satisfaction, and 99.99% uptime, with new franchise networks fully onboarded within three months.
Six networks, one big vote of confidence
Six franchise groups moved from optional Tanda usage to a full network mandate in the past three years, spanning quick service restaurants, pharmacy, retail, fitness, and grocery. Each of those is a franchisor putting Tanda in front of their board and asking for sign-off across every store they own.
"A trophy is a nice night out," Fleming said. "Six networks choosing to bet their whole business on us, that's the thing I'll really remember."
