What's New: March 2025
Check out the key updates we made to Tanda accounts during March.
Following months of hard work behind the scenes, we've introduced the ability for Tanda HR users to upload their own SCORM training files.
SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Mode) is the most common format used for eLearning modules and interactive training. This update gives users far more flexibility and control over their training content and means you can bring any existing training files in SCORM format over to Tanda, from digital safety courses to emergency evacuation training.

We’ve continued to iterate on our new reporting suite, with the latest addition being the new Rostered Shift Report. Businesses have been using this report to quickly find details about published and unpublished shifts, including costs, acceptance statuses, and shift lengths.
You can now quickly download any qualification attachments via the Employee Qualification Report. This means you can retain proof of a qualification for easy reference down the track - think old visas or expired working with children checks.

Fair Work imposes strict rules about when and how employers can deduct money from an employee’s pay, including having clear agreements they can reference back to.
With Tanda’s all-in-one package, businesses can now create custom HR forms that link directly to a Payroll deduction. For example, you may create a form that employees can complete when they want to make a voluntary contribution to their super that links through to Tanda Payroll once complete. Not only is proof of the deduction request easily accessible, but the deduction is automatically added to the employee’s next pay run without manual intervention.

For businesses that are looking to bring historical records over to Tanda HR, you can now upload Training, Warnings, and Incidents directly to staff profiles. This means you’ll maintain oversight of previous HR action without having to sift through downloads or retain access to your previous digital system.

Our written warnings feature has been reworked to allow for more customisation and provide more context when issuing a warning.
If there’s an issue you’re frequently warning staff about, you can now template it for more convenient use. Specify a name, reason, who should be notified, and more for each warning template, and attach our new Warning Letters where required.
A Warning Letter gives you the opportunity to provide more context to a situation when sending a written warning. Then, when issuing a written warning, the letter will pre-populate, and you have the opportunity to make adjustments as needed, such as name or warning number.

Focussing in on Tanda Payroll, we added the ability for users to create date-driven deductions, autopaid earnings, and tax templates. Put simply, this means you can now set a date that dictates when these features should/shouldn’t apply, giving users more control and flexibility. This can be especially helpful in scenarios where someone is temporarily moving to new conditions, such as covering parental leave.
Additionally, we added two new bulk Payroll options, introducing the ability to download a combined ABA file and update payment dates in bulk.

Elsewhere across the product, we have added new TOIL expiry notifications, reminding both users and managers when TOIL is set to expire. We also added a handy new ‘years of service’ tracker on staff profiles to make clear an employee's tenure and experience.

When you’re hiring new team members, the faster you can find the right fit, the better. We’re gradually introducing new functionality forTanda Hire that cuts more time off the hiring process, including automatic resume summaries. This tool will quickly summarise details like work history, key skills, and education, all without changing tabs and flicking between different pages.
